Ok. I’ll just keep to myself then.
I have been feeling rather mute lately. Or rather, perhaps I am the only person who can talk vocally, and everyone around me is deaf and communicating on some different level. They all seem to be able to hear each other ok.
After a week of non responses, I will be honest, I did get crabby, and snapped. Still no response, just a warning that I was being unfriendly.
Oh hey, we lost $15,000, Carolynski, did you know this?
Yeah. Haven’t you got my emails or my texts? Haven’t I expressed my concern about this? Is this not the trajectory that I told you we were headed in?
Ok.
It’s not just at work. Hanging out with family or friends. I start talking, and next I realize my words are just hanging in the air. I stop midsentence. Nobody notices or cares.
Ok.
Just feeling a little blue. But I know it’s just a weird chunk of time. I cannot speak for those in my personal life, but I know we’ve all been feeling stretched a bit thin at work. Soon, I am sure, the camaraderie will return.
Unless I am a ghost? Maybe I am a ghost??? That’d make sense.
